It will be only the second time an Antarctic flight has departed from Hobart.
Hobart is around 2600 kilometres Antarctica and flights over the frozen continent typically last between 12 and 14 hours.
While the flight will not touch down on the ice, passengers will get a birds-eye view from 10,000 feet.

RACT Travel will coordinate the flight and State Sales Manager Christine Benbow said she was expecting the flights to sell quickly.
"It's a real bucket-list item for many Tasmanian travellers," Ms Benbow said.
"With the COVID outbreak and the various travel restrictions that resulted we know that Tasmanians are keener than ever to travel."
A number of "flights to nowhere" went on sale throughout 2020 but some were criticised for their carbon footprint but RACT Travel said the Antarctic flight would be carbon neutral.
Tickets for the flight start from $1199 and will be on sale for three weeks from October 19.
