Acting Public Health Director Dr Scott McKeown said all of the new cases were from North-West Tasmania.

"Three are healthcare workers who have worked at either the North West Regional Hospital or the North West Private Hospital," Dr McKeown said.
"One is a close contact of a confirmed case."

All of the new cases were men. Two were in their 30s, one in the 50s and one in their 70s.
"Tests are continuing to be processed tonight for residents and staff at three North-West nursing homes where a worker had worked shifts before testing positive for coronavirus," Dr McKeown said.
