Hurricanes coach Adam Griffith said it was great to be back in Launceston where his cricketing career started.

"They've turned the weather on for us too so we're looking forward to getting onto the ground and checking out the new outfield and hopefully we get a big crowd on Monday night," he said.
"They [the crowd] were good last year and we're hoping for the same again this year.
"We want to be known as Tasmania's team, Launceston's obviously a big connection to that as well as a rich cricketing history here so it's great for us to be back again."
