The reigning premiers were too strong for the South Australian outfit in Hobart, collecting a fifth win from as many games.
But assistant coach Claire Dennis said the side had to get over a slow start which had them 18-12 down at quarter time.
"We rotated the full squad to inject pace and change to the game with good effect," Dennis said.
"It was a full team effort over 60 minutes with great performances from Sammy Gooden and Sharni Lambden who returned from knee surgery.
"Ash Probert-Hill again showed her poise under pressure and Zanna Jodlowska completely shut down her player."
Jane Cook scored 36 goals from 40 attempts with Sam Gooden similarly accurate with 22 from 25.
Dennis said the side will look to reduce its error rate for Sunday's match against the same opponent at 10.30am.
