Full of confidence after a 111-point thumping of Lauderdale last round, Northern Bombers Josie Brain and Caitlyn Hooper kicked the only two goals of the opening term to give their side a 10-point buffer.
But the Bombers would score just two points for the rest of the match as a more experienced Roos side strolled to a 7.14 (56) to 2.3 (15) victory.
Talisha Wooley and former Evandale ruck Sophie Townsend both impressed in a losing effort for the Bombers, while captain Jodie Clifford again led front the front.
North Melbourne recruit Nicole Bresenhan will solid around the ground for Clarence, as was former AFLW Roo Maddison Smith, who could have finished with more than her game-high three goals.
The round concludes with Launceston's noon trip to Lauderdale on Sunday.
