She should know. She’s about to bring a show to Tasmania, opening in Launceston, that is a celebration of all of the glitter, glamour and fabulousness that is the diva.
Viva la Diva will play at the Italian Club on Friday, December 21, doors at 7pm for an 8pm show, $10 tickets through eventbrite or the AIC.
Ms Crave has performed with her husband as Cafe Noir for the past four years, but Viva la Diva will be a one-woman show, with stage banter, storytelling, and plenty of belting.
Expect all the classics from Doris Day, Shirley Bassey, Bette Midler, Cher, Adele, and Tina Turner, along with original costumes from Anna Zimmerman, and an expectation that the audience will be up and dancing in true diva style.
”It’s the women that I love … and I also love all the spangles,” she said.
