The business is one of 26 throughout Launceston city so far registered as a donation point for The Examiner’s Mission Possible appeal.
Launched last week, the campaign has a goal to collect 30,000 items for City Mission between March 26 and May 6.
Ms Dolbey said after the success of last year’s appeal, the newsagency was happy to get behind the “worthy cause” a second time around.
“It is just really nice to think that you are helping someone less fortunate,” she said.
“We took part in the appeal last year and had a great response from our customers.
“We have only had our donation box out for a week, but hopefully our customers will show their support again.
“Every little bit helps, as the say.”
