Larvae was also detected near the Flinders Island Lady Barron site on Wednesday and at Spreyton on March 16.
A Primary Industries, Parks, Wildlife and Environment department spokesperson would not confirm numbers of fruit fly detected within control zones.
“Response actions at these sites are continuing, as well as surveillance, as part of giving certainty to when eradication is achieved,” the spokesperson said.
No further detections have been made at the other site within the Northern zone for 28 days or at the Trousers Point or Badger Corner sites on Flinders Island for more than 50 days, the spokesperson said.
