The Eagles entered two teams in the stage 2 under-17 competition and found success with their Maroons side, which featured several players with senior experience.
Rebekah Illingworth, who coached the side with Lynn Hendley, said the side also featured players hailing from Scottsdale, Devonport and Campbell Town.
“We were very pleased,” Illingworth said.
“We’ll lose a couple of players due to age next season but we were very impressed with the Maroons.
“They worked very strongly together as a team and most of them are all-rounders and good little fielders.”
Illingworth said she hoped Cricket North women’s league as a whole would grow stronger in 2018 and eventually expand to a two-tier competition.
Illingworth’s Maroons were presented with the flag last weekend.
