To celebrate another year older and wiser, we’re looking back at some iconic photos from our archives. 

These school photos were printed in The Examiner in March, 2000.

Last year was big for The Examiner, it turned 175.

To mark the occasion The Examiner will recapped 20 of the state’s most iconic stories in a 64-page special publication, which was delivered free to more than 140,000 Tasmanian homes in March last year.
