The former Docker, who has traded to the expansion club for the second pick in last year’s national draft, finished with 14 touches (nine uncontested and two intercepts), three marks (one intercept), one clearance, three tackles and four score involvements.
Hobart’s Aaron Hall was dynamic for the winners with 17 disposals (10 uncontested and six intercepts) at 94 per cent disposal efficiency, one clearance, four tackles, 2.0, one goal assist and seven score involvements.
Launceston’s Kade Kolodjashnij, sporting a helmet this season after concussion ended his 2017 prematurely, had five possessions.
His twin Jake looked good in Geelong’s back-line with 12 touches, five marks, four tackles and one score involvement.
Jackson Thurlow, also of Launceston, had 12 touches and had four score involvements from defence.
Burnie’s Robbie Fox was impressive in Sydney’s win over Brisbane with a strong game in the midfield.
He collected 24 touches (20 uncontested) at 75 per cent disposal efficiency, six marks, two tackles and four score involvements.
Lauderdale’s Mitch Robinson had nine touches (four contested), four tackles and three score involvements in the midfield for the Lions.
Meanwhile, Brittany Gibson set a new personal AFLW benchmark as her Lions fell agonisingly short against Melbourne on Friday.
Her final-quarter goal at Casey Fields on Thursday, was her third of the season, bettering the two majors she managed in the first season of the competition.
The midfielder has also upped her disposal average from 11.2 to 9.1, which includes a career best 14 a fortnight ago against Fremantle.
Against the Demons, she was again important, especially after the long break, and finished with 11 touches, two marks one tackle and 0.1 in the one goal loss.
Clarence’s Jessica Wuetschner was unusually quiet with no scoreboard impact, but she was still busy with nine touches, three marks and three tackles.
With two rounds left, she remains equal-second on the goal-kicking table with seven, four behind Western Bulldogs’ Brooke Lochland.
Ulverstone’s Brooke Patterson had six touches, one mark and two tackles for Melbourne.
Launceston’s Courtney Webb matched the disposal count from her debut when she collected five touches in Carlton’s loss to Adelaide. She also took one mark and kicked 0.1.
