Received by Break O’Day Council at its meeting in February, the report contained important information on flooding in St Marys.

Councillor Janet Drummond said it was “excellent” having Water Technology project manager Julian Skipworth and NRM facilitator Poilly Buchhorn at the forum at St Marys.

Councillor Hannah Rubenach-Quinn said the community “really embraced the project” and the work that had been done.

Deputy mayor John McGiveron said the work had come a long way.

“The very fact that we are attempting to do something is extremely important,” he said.
