Owner Sue Barker said the incident occurred on Saturday night, causing “significant damage” to all three windows at the shop’s frontage.
While the incident has been reported to police and the cost of repairs will be covered by insurance, the small-business owner says the behaviour from members of the community is not good enough.
“I believe that small businesses always seem to be getting targeted,” she said.
“I have a great little business that I love, and that the people of Lonnie love as everyone loves their dogs and love to spoil them, and now we have had another set back by someone irresponsible.
“These people need to be held accountable for their actions, you can’t just walk around and do that.”
IN OTHER NEWS:
Ms Barker said the shop was also broken into in May 2017 and the perpetrators were not found.
“People need to be aware of what this does to a business … it’s appalling, I’ve got a little business that I love and I am just trying to make ends meet.”
