About 20 of Tasmania’s top aspiring models shone at Launceston’s Peppers Seaport on Sunday, as they competed in the Tasmanian State Final.
The Tasmanian state finalists chosen by judges were Holly Stearnes of Launceston, and Magda Gamar of Hobart.
Both will both go on to compete in the national final in July.
Prior to announcing the finalists, event MC Andi Lew wanted to remind the entrants they were all beautiful people.
Ms Lew said the young women were judged in three parts: personality, evening wear, and a Q&A section.
Social media and body image were heavily discussed in the Q&A.
