Launceston Silicone Beach is an informal group for those interested in founding or working in startups, and hold regular meetups and social occasions across the city.
It is part of the wider Silicon Beach groups, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth Silicon Beaches.
At the event, guests will hear from from a diverse range of Tasmanians as they share how they got their startup up-and-running and discuss what it’s like to be an entrepreneur in the state’s North.
The Launceston Silicon Beach event will begin with networking drinks from 5.30pm, with the panel session and Q&A taking place from 6-7pm.
The event will be held on February 20 at Cowork Launceston in the Level 2 Training Room.
It will also be livestreamed to the Cowork Launceston Facebook page.
