The app which links to tablet application Farm2Lab, enables agronomists, researchers and growers to transfer data from the field to the laboratory.
APAL Managing Director Ryan Walker said the app was designed to integrate with other geolocation and spatial technology.
“We wanted a tool that is simple and efficient and requires minimal in-field data entry,” Mr Walker said.
Growers or consultants create a sampling plan using a spatial platform, like Google Earth, and then upload it into the online system.
APAL processes more than 75,000 soil, water and plant samples annually.
