Bridport Surf Life Saving Club hosting Tasmanian championships

See ironmen and women from around the state battle it out at Bridport at the weekend.

The Bridport Surf Life Saving Club will hold two statewide surf life saving events over the weekend of February 17 and 18.

The event will kick-off with the Masters Tasmanian Surf Life Saving Championships on February 17 at 9am.

Join the club on Saturday night from 6.30pm for a barbecue and drinks.

Adults cost $10 and kids are $5.

Selected events from the Junior and Open Statewide Surf Life Saving Carnival will take place on February 18 from 9am.

The competitors briefing and events commence at 9.15am sharp.

Events will include relays and iron person events.

The championships and carnival will be held at the Surf Life Saving Club at Gofton’s Beach at Bridport.
