Australian award-winning musicians The Robertson Brothers and Simon Brook McLachlan join together for a night of musical hits at Country Club Tasmania next month.
Ben Robertson first discovered The Everly Brothers at a young age when his parents played their songs at home.
Fast-forward a few decades, now Robertson and his brother Geoff are leaving on their fourth national music tour, reliving hits such as All I Have To Do Is Dream, Let It Be Me and Wake Up Little Susie.
The Robertson Brothers have had a successful career, including singing the theme song for television show Home and Away.
If it wasn’t for their original music career, they wouldn’t be on stage performing songs from The Everly Brothers, he said. “We don’t pretend to be them.”
Instead the production was part concert, part mini theatrical with the second half of the show set like a 1960s music television show, Robertson said.
Take a trip down memory lane and relive the hits, he said.
- The Robertson Brothers and Simon Brook McLachlan will join together on stage celebrating the hits of The Everly Brothers, and Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons on March 17. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster.com, starting from $71.20 for adults.
