Deloraine Creative Studios opened its latest exhibition Tasmanian Love Stories on Saturday evening.

The exhibition features prints from a number of local artists just in time for Valentine’s Day.

All of the works are historical depictions of Tasmanian love stories, according to exhibition curator Bec Donaldson.

Ms Donaldson said the exhibition highlighted the strong, vibrant art scene at Deloraine.

“I was chatting to the guests at opening night and, to my surprise, they included lots of people who are new to Tasmania and have specifically chosen Deloraine as the place to move to, because of its creative, artistic reputation,” he said.

The exibition runs until February 25.
