Interim chief executive Andrew Byrne said the more comfortable they are, the better they will be able to endure the noise that comes with the fireworks.
“It is best to have them inside with you, where there may be another noise distraction,” he said.
“The worst thing is to leave them outside in the backyard.
“They will get out once they start hearing the fireworks and become distressed.”
