The wicketkeeper hit seven fours in a knock of 53 to guide the Hurricanes to 7-130 - their second-best total of the year – but was outdone by Perth Scorchers opener Nicole Bolton.
The Southern Stars batter compiled 60 not out to guide the Scorchers to a six-wicket win with just eight balls remaining, hitting a six off Hayley Matthews to clinch the game.
Redmayne’s knock was only the second half-century made by a Hurricane this season, after Isobel Joyce made 52 not out in the previous match between the two sides.
Joyce again impressed, making 20 in a 45-run third-wicket stand with Redmayne, while Longford’s Sasha Moloney made 15 off eight balls as her side chased quick runs at the end of the innings.
Pace bowler Katelyn Fryett picked up two wickets on her return to the Hurricanes line-up, including the scalp of Southern Stars representative Elyse Villani.
The Hurricanes will wrap up their season with matches against the Melbourne Stars at the MCG on Saturday and Sunday.
