It was the richest of his 10 career wins for Bagdad trainer Paul Williams and his co-owner Maree Blake.
He went into the race as $3.50 second favourite behind former New Zealander Illegal Immigrant ($1.70) who was unbeaten in three previous Tasmanian starts.
Illegal Immigrant ran down Metro Digby in Launceston nine days earlier but the re-match was a one-sided affair.
Metro Digby led from the pole and was never threatened while Illegal Immigrant was hindered by a broken lugging pole and never came into contention.
The other feature races on Cup Night were won by Nances Delight (trained by Melissa Maine), Hamna Shida (Brooke Hammond) and Sultan Fella (Paul Ashwood) while last season’s star two-year-old Ignatius returned to racing with an easy victory.
