About 40 spaces are available for potential sellers at a price of $8 each.

Loose change donations are also encouraged from participants, with funds from the event going to Invermay Primary School.

Tullochs Auctions director Jessie Reid said it made sense to assist the institution.

“We are based in Invermay, so it means a lot to be able to give back to the community,” she said.

“This is also a good way to sell items from deceased estates that are not suitable for the public auctions.

“People can sell anything as long as its legal.”

The Tullochs Comunity Car Boot Sale will be held on Saturday, January 20 at 20 Herbert Street, Invermay. 

It will open at 8am for sellers and 9am for buyers.

The event will run until 12pm.
