Male passenger critical following Huon Highway crash in state’s South

Three men have been taken to Royal Hobart Hospital, one in a critical condition, following a single vehicle crash on the Huon Highway in the state’s South on Saturday night.

Three men have been taken to Royal Hobart Hospital, one in a critical condition, following a single vehicle crash on the Huon Highway in the state’s South on Saturday night. 

Emergency services attended the crash about 7.40pm near Huonville on the northern approach. 

The three male occupants of the car were taken to hospital, including a  21-year-old Lucaston man who remains in a critical condition. 

Due to the serious nature of the crash, the road was temporarily closed while police carried out an examination of the crash scene.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a maroon coloured Subaru Outback being driven on the Huon Hwy or Lucaston Grove area around the time of the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
