Police and SES search for missing man Peter Henrich

Tasmania Police and the State Emergency Service have commenced an extensive search of Poatina to find missing man Peter Henrich.

Mr Henrich was last seen in the area in November and was reported missing in early January.

Inspector Darren Hopkins said police had established a search base off Poatina Road, the location where Mr Henrich was last seen.

“Eight police and 26 SES will be joined by the crew of the Westpac Police Rescue Helicopter to search bushland and roadway in the area in an attempt to find any evidence of Mr Henrich or his last movements,” Inspector Hopkins said.

Poatina is situated at the edge of the Great Western Tiers Conservation Area, 60 kilometres south of Launceston.
