Hillwood Berries farm manager Simon Dornauf is conference committee chairman for this international berry event at Country Club Tasmania, Prospect Vale.
Australian and international berry experts will be speaking at the event, with a particular focus on how the industry will expand over the next decade, Mr Dornauf said.
“Among the presenters will be several innovative growers who are putting this knowledge into practice,” he said.

US research geneticist Dr Chad Finn leads a raspberry, blackberry, blueberry and strawberry breeding program in Corvallis, Oregon, and will speak about future breeding requirements for berries.
Other speakers include Ridley Bell from Mountain Blue Farms, Marion Regan from Hugh Lowe Farms in Kent and Jon Gleeson from Driscolls.
BerryQuest business sessions allow growers and industry stakeholders to learn from others, as well as see how Tasmanian producers operate during the field day program.
“You will be able to speak to and hear from suppliers about the latest innovations and technology,” Mr Dornauf said.
