The cafe brand has an existing presence on the West Tamar Highway at Riverside and is housed in a colourfully painted shipping container.
A similarly styled shipping container will be placed on the western side of High Street between Lawrence Vale Road and Howick Street, at the same location as the florist and computer shop.
Four representations against the proposal were received, with concerns about increased traffic, parking, hours of operation and amenity.
This led to the inclusion of extra safety measures with temporary bollards or screens to be located along the property boundary between the two existing vehicle crossings during the operating hours of the coffee shop.
The business was launched by Edward Crick in early 2017 and is co-owned by Maddy Scott.
