Police are soon hoping to talk to two young children who were at a Claremont home at the same time a 27-year-old woman was shot in the stomach on Thursday night.

A 23-year-old man has been taken into custody and the woman, who has non-life-threatening injuries, is yet to provide a statement to police.
Detective Inspector Craig Joel said it was not clear whether the two were in a relationship and there were no family violence orders in place.
He said the firearm has not been recovered.
Detective Inspector Joel said police were alerted to the incident through an emergency call.
He said the man and woman were together at the house when police arrived, along with two children.
"(The children) are not physically harmed ... but it is concerning that there are children involved," Detective Inspector Joel said.
Forensic and ballistic investigators were at the Cammeray Road house this morning.
No charges have been laid.
