The Hurricanes opened their WBBL03 campaign with 45 and 83 run losses in the two matches against the Adelaide Strikers in Glenelg.
Hall said the team had showed signs in the first two games that they can contend towards the end of the season.
“We showed glimpses in both matches of players hitting their stride but we just need a complete performance together,” Hall said.
“It is a long competition, we still have 12 games to go and we have seen in previous years that teams have started slowly and have come good at the back at the end of the season.
“The Sixers proved it a couple of seasons ago, so it has definitely not hampered our attitude or our feeling among the group.
“We are more determined to prepare well and put in a good performance against the Sixers this week.”
Hall believed a focus on batting partnerships and tying the high powered Sixers batting line up would be important on Sunday.
“It will be about working in partnership because we lost a couple of wickets in little clumps and it stopped the momentum of our innings so far.
“But the Sixers are a quality side and have a lot of players with a bit of x factor and our bowlers have put good plans in place and hopefully we can control those big hitters.”
The Sixers are second on the ladder with two wins and one loss from three games.
