Bilston shot Mr Manshanden in the back of the head in October last year.
After more than five hours of deliberations, since Wednesday afternoon, the jury unanimously decided on Thursday afternoon that Bilston deliberately killed Mr Manshanden.
Bilston sat silently as his victim's family cried in the back of the court.
Justice Robert Pearce began hearing victim impact statements from Mr Manshanden's family.
His mother, father, sister and partner described the pain they have endured since his death.
Mr Manshanden’s mother Lesley Manshanden told the court that part of her had been taken away.
“It is all so unbearable,” she said.
“The sight of my son in his coffin will stay with me all my life.”
Mr Manshanden’s sister Gina Manshanden described it as the “worst tragedy that has ever happened to my family”.
“And Dean is not here to help me through.”
The matter was adjourned until February with Bilston expected to be sentenced sometime that month.
