Adequate entries have been received in the Open, B and C divisions. The play will begin at 10am on both days for the open category, while the B and C competitions will start later at 11am.
The championships follow an entertaining six-week pennant which was played recently throughout October and November, with the East Launceston Croquet Club taking out the open division with six wins, defeating Latrobe with four.
In the B grade, ELCC green defeated St Leonards with six wins to four, while Royal Park won the C grade with five wins overcoming ELLC with four wins.
In addition to the upcoming championships, a novice competition will take place on January 13 and 14.
The conditions for this event are for players who have not won previously, and have been playing for less than two years.
