A Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works hearing was due to be held for Riverside High School on Wednesday, December 13.
Chair of the committee, Liberal Member for Braddon Joan Rylah, said the hearing was cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
“The committee will place another advertisement in the public notices when a new hearing date is scheduled,” the public notice in Saturday’s Examiner said.
The hearing notice was first advertised on November 21. Interested individuals were asked to make a submission by Monday, December 4.
Any inquiries about the hearing’s cancellation can be directed to secretary Scott Hennessy via email on scott.hennessy@parliament.tas.gov.au.
