The disability support provider will celebrate its 70th anniversary with plenty of vintage cars, food vans, alpacas and family entertainment on Saturday.
Eskleigh chief executive officer Dale Luttrell said forecast rain would not stop the open day from going ahead.
It was an opportunity for people to visit the majestic mansion at Perth, Mr Luttrell said, which people often only saw from the distance of the Midland Highway.
The open day starts at 10am and will run into the afternoon.
The proceeds from the day will go towards buying a wheelchair bus for Eskleigh.
Having the bus would enable residents to be more involved with the community as it could take two people in wheelchairs and six additional residents on excursions, he said.
Eskleigh has received $10,000 towards its $75,000 target for the bus.
Tasmanian Governor Her Excellency the Honourable Professor Kate Warner will have afternoon tea with residents and invited guests later in the afternoon.
This will be the third visit her excellency, who is the patron of Eskleigh, will make to the mansion.
Entry is by gold coin or for $5, you can enter the lucky gate prize draw, valued at $1100.
