The West Tamar council initially budgeted to commit to $20,000 to the rebuild, but decided to boost their funding in order to help secure the final parts of the project.
The jetty piling for the redevelopment was completed on November 28.
There are now new steel piles for the entire structure of the jetty, alongside new steel poly-sleeved piles for the club’s pontoons, and the new fuel berth and day berth pontoons now in place.
The Port Dalrymple Yacht Club hope to have the jetty up and running by about February 2018.
