The Rebels Motorcycle Club member committed the offence at the clubs headquarters in Letitia Street, North Hobart, on the morning of October 5, as he was celebrating his birthday.
The victim, who had known Craig for about five years, texted him the evening before, asking if she could attend the party.
The Hobart Supreme Court heard in 2016 that, at some stage during the night, the victim became ill and retreated to a members-only area to relax on couches.
Craig visited her later on and made her place her hands on his erect penis and initiate oral sex, which she refused.
It was then that he pulled down her pants and raped her, ignoring her protestations.
In sentencing for the crime in 2016, Justice Helen Wood said the victim had been hospitalised for “self-destructive impulses” 50 times a year after the crime.
She said the victim had inflicted serious self harm on multiple occasions and nearly died on one of those occasions.
Several others had required surgical intervention.
Craig was sentenced three and a half years' jail time with a 21-month non-parole period.
The Justice Department confirmed Craig had been released on Friday.
The Parole Board’s decision is likely to be published next week.
