The alleged victim told a jury on Tuesday she was 15 when the man choked her and “forced himself inside” her.
“We had an argument about some girl who walked past the house ... it turned physical,” she said.
It was after the alleged rape, the woman claims she fell pregnant to the man, who is eight years older than her.
He has pleaded not guilty to maintaining a sexual relationship with a young person and is on trial in the Launceston Supreme Court.
Giving evidence, the alleged victim said she was Facebook friends with the man for about a year before they had sex on her 15th birthday in 2013.
She told the court her mum, brothers and children were at her home for her birthday party when they had sex on the trampoline in the backyard.
She described it as being the first of a number of times they had sex, including two occasions when she alleges he raped her.
On one of those occasions, her mother was sleeping next to them and their baby was in a bassinet nearby, the court heard.
The woman said she had taken pain medication before bed because she suffered gall stones and she woke up later in the night to find him “spooning” her with his penis inside her vagina.
“He was having sex with me, while I was out cold,” she told the court.
“I cried … that was all I could do at that point.”
Defence lawyer Evan Hughes argued the pair had only had sex once and on that single occasion, she had climbed on top of the man while he was asleep. The woman denied Mr Hughes suggestions but he pressed the issue.
“You took down his pants and you inserted his penis into your vagina,” he said.
“He became … distressed … and that surprised you didn’t it.”
“No,” the woman replied.
Mr Hughes described the pair’s break-up as “ugly” and questioned the woman over her son’s custody, suggesting she was upset the man had “primary care”.
“You would do anything to get him back, wouldn’t you,” Mr Hughes asked.
“Yes,” she said.
“You knew that accusing [the man] of rape would help your case in keeping [your son] away from [him],” Mr Hughes continued.
“No,” she said.
The trial before Justice Robert Pearce will continue on Wednesday.
