Nearly 1000 items will go under the hammer at Invermay, including paintings from well-known artists Haughton Forrest, John Glover and Andrea Locatelli, as well as a collection of rare furniture.
While there will no shortage of bidders at Invermay, Tullochs director Jessie Reid said there will also be plenty of action off-site as well.
“There is usually a fair bit of interest from interstate, with people placing absentee bids or joining the auction via phone,” she said.
“We get a lot of bids from people who have read about these items in magazines and have been waiting for them to go on sale.”
This month’s auction follows on from Tullochs first ever dedicated motoring auction in July, in which Back to the Future DeLorean DMC-12 was sold for $80,000.
MRs Reid said there were some similarly classic items being put forward this time around.
“We have a pair of huon pine occasional tables that have been with the same family since the early 1900s,” she said.
The Tullochs auction will start at 9am on Wednesday, November 29.
