Excessive speed and the manner of driving appear to have contributed to a crash which left the driver with minor injuries, Tasmania Police says.
The single male occupant of the vehicle was taken to hospital in an ambulance suffering minor injuries.
Tasmania Police confirmed excessive speed and the manner of driving immediately prior to the crash appeared to have led to the crash.
Emergency services have left the scene.
EARLIER:
A person is being removed from a vehicle by emergency services following a single vehicle crash in Launceston.
Tasmania Police confirmed the single occupant did not appear to be seriously injured in the crash on Gleadow Street in Invermay.
The crash occurred about 8pm on Friday and involved a commodore ute.
Tasmania Police, Tasmania Fire Service and Ambulance Tasmania crews attended the single vehicle crash.
