Tasmanian red meat producers update LPA accreditation

Tasmanian red meat producers have updated their Livestock Production Assurance accreditation before the October 1 deadline.

More than 4440 Australian producers completed the process, including 624 who became accredited for the first time, Integrity Systems Company chief executive Dr Jane Weatherley said.

“The changes enhance the integrity of Australia’s $23 billion red meat industry and ensure our reputation and market access is protected,” Dr Weatherley said.
