Organised by Launceston initiative the Chicken Farm Project, the fashion show will be raising money to help the Mafubira Orphanage in Uganda.
Group founder Ann Edwards said the goal was to raise enough money to support the orphanage in building a free-range chicken farm, and local bus run.
If successful, both projects would make the orphanage self sufficient and no longer reliant on donations.
"It made so much more sense to support something to get it to the point that you don't need to support it anymore," Ms Edwards said.

It starts at 2pm, followed by afternoon tea, an auction and market stalls.
