The gate figures represent an approximate increase of 1400 people from 2016, according to Westbury Show president Kevin Lattin.
“I’d say we’ll make a reasonably good profit on it,” he said.
Westbury’s annual show is unique for not featuring the Tasmanian Show Guild or sideshow alley.
Mr Lattin has overseen the last five editions of the show, and has emphasised a smaller, more community-oriented event.
Mr Lattin also credited the increase in ticket sales to the work of volunteers.
“It’s been a magnificent effort by a very large number of volunteers," he said.
“What keeps us going is volunteers and sponsorship from the local community.”
