The event celebrated its 10th anniversary with flowers, food and festivities to raise funds for the historic home near Hadspen.
Gardenfest event coordinator Sue Dibella estimated close to 2000 people visited Entally House on the first day of the festival.
“We’ve had terrific support from the community,” Ms Dibella said.
“All the money goes back to work on the home.”
Some wandered through the historic and volunteer-kept gardens while others dined on tea and scones in the shade of the verandah, she said.
Gardenfest will be on again between 10am and 4pm on Sunday.
