Handmark Gallery's current show Works by Linda Keough comes to a close on Thursday.

The exhibited works at the Evandale gallery focus on the way animals interact with our modern world.

“This current exhibition continues my interest in how the natural world sits within the fast moving pace of the man-made environment," Keough said.

"Most of the works are a metaphorical reference to aspects of my own experiences, and the internal battle of life."

The Northern Tasmania-based Keough has seen great success in the past, after being chosen as a finalist for the Glover Prize in 2013 and 2015 respectively.

Handmark Gallery at Evandale is open daily, from 10am to 7pm.
