The Deloraine Lions Club has donated a fully adjustable bed to the Deloraine Hospital.

The hospital bed was manufactured by industry leader Linet, and provides patients with the ability to lie or sit in a wide variety of positions.
The charity group raised the money for the hospital’s new bed through its food catering van and by selling tickets to its raffles.
“This is the perfect investment for the Deloraine Lions club as it fits the club’s mandate of serving the local Meander Valley community,” club president Eric Richardson said.
“It will benefit hundreds of community members for years to come.”
The Lions Club is looking at donating another bed to the hospital in the near future.
