The 27-year-old didn’t mince words when asked about his views on the debate.
“The damage that has been done to mental health of queer youth because of this debacle is huge,” he said.
“I've never been a hugely political person, but I guess it could be argued this isn't a political situation.”
“It's based on human rights.”
The Sydney comedian will appear at the Fresh Comedy Gala on November 4 alongside Denise Scott, Ann Edmonds and Sammy J.
