This will be the 60th edition of the event, making it one of the oldest continuously held blessings in Australia.
The Break O’Day Combined Churches event will begin at 11am, and will conclude with a barbecue lunch after the blessing.
The event is a relic of an old Mediterranean tradition, where the clergy would bless fleets to ensure they have successful voyages.
