The Burnie business is giving away a mower to raise money for the McGrath Foundation.
This fundraiser was prompted by Husqvarna Australia’s Saws for a Cause initiative, where dealers around Australia ‘go pink’ for breast cancer awareness.
During Husqvarna’s Saws for a Cause, $5 from every pink Husqvarna toy chainsaw sold during October and $10 from every Husqvarna Battery Chainsaw sold throughout the year goes to the McGrath Foundation.
All funds raised at dealer events goes directly to placing specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities around the country, Husqvarna Australia managing director David Boyd said.
“We know that breast cancer affects women of all ages around Australia, so awareness is critical. We’re proud to help raise awareness and important funds so the McGrath Foundation can continue to make a difference,” Mr Boyd said.
