The Civil Digital Communications Bill seeks to provide victims of non-consensual sharing of intimate images with the “enforceable right” to have images of themselves removed from social media platforms.
Included in the bill is a provision to facilitate take-down orders for non-consensually shared intimate images.

She called on the state government to “take the issue more seriously”.
