Bright sunshine greeted show-goers for Saturday’s festivities, which included a number of competition finals.
Junior cattle handlers and showjumpers were first up on the day, starting at 8.30am.
At 9am, the kennel dogs and angora goats were on show at different sections of the site, with the miniature horses getting their turn at 9.30am.
Launceston Show Society president Jock Gibson said the animals were a nice way to wrap up the event.
“Saturday’s always a busy time in the dog show area, because they do all of their special classes,” he said.
“The major showjumping events were also held today.
“The other event which was popular was outback animal show, which has been going strongly all week.
“Overall, crowds have been fair, but there have been a few less people than we were hoping for.”
The show closed its gates for this year at 5pm on Saturday.
