The visitors won the toss, elected to bat and finished on 5-129 from their 20 overs.
The Chieftains had Tigers opener Shannon Rumbel (1) caught off the third ball before Jackson Blair (26) and Dilian Dandairigoda (17) combined for a 54-run stand.
Adams used a couple of lives and finished off the innings 51 not out, while Simon Clay was Hadspen’s only multiple wicket taker with 2-17. Hadspen openers Damian Woods and Nathan Balym laid a solid foundation for the hosts with a 50-run partnership before Woods was dismissed for 25.
Clay (8) came and went before Scott Driessen was the elevated pitch hitter, however, the total proved just out of reach with Driessen (23) and Balym (53) both unbeaten. Hadspen finished 2-113 before responding with a comfortable win over the Diggers in their second match.
Diggers chose to bat first and were cleaned up for 87 in the 20th over with Simon Thomas top scoring with 20.
Clay, Jacob Walker and Derryn Spinks each claimed three wickets, while Andrew House was as safe as, taking five catches in the field.
The Chieftains won the match in 15th over, ending up 3-90 with Woods (34) and Clay (38 not out) doing most of the work.
CRESSY edged out ACL by 15 runs after posting 3-119 on their home ground.
Bulldogs captain-coach Damian Whybrow (36) and Jono Goss (19) put on 46 and Sam Henley’s stay at the crease was short-lived, out caught for 1. Cressy did not lose a wicket after the 16th over with Danny Bennett (49 not out) boosting the target needed for an ACL victory.
Bluebacks paceman Sean Barry claimed 2-18 before his teammates made good work of the run chase.
ACL were 2-73 at 15 overs with Matthew Oates (39) and Drew Clark (21) chugging along, however, some quick wickets from Whybrow (3-26) turned the match in Cressy’s favour – ACL finishing 6-104.
The Bulldogs’ batsmen fired again against Beauty Point – piling on 5-179.
Whybrow (47), Goss (50) and Sam Graham (50 not out) dominated the Tamar Tigers attack to make it two wins in the one day.
Jason Savage struck 55 in response with Rob Crane (30) and Gavin Nutting (24 not out) also helping them to 4-127 – 52 runs short.
